Drummer Bryan Bisordi is known for his dynamic approach to the instrument and ability to fit into any playing situation. Throughout his performing career he's accompanied artists in all genres, blended acoustics and electronics with Ableton Live and SPD-S, and doubled on drum set and electric bass. These experiences have taken him all over the US, Europe, Japan and the Middle East, led to television and radio appearances on NBC, BBC (UK) and RTE (Ireland), and include performances at Lincoln Center, Terminal 5 and Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, Blue Note Jazz Clubs, and hundreds of other venues in NYC and around the country.

Bryan had the privilege of playing on ten records in the last two years, and performed with numerous live acts all over the world. These include a national tour with Ron Pope and European tours with Great Elk and Hesta Prynn. Bryan also performs with Liptalk, Janita (Engine House Records), Cosimicide, Jetlag, Twintapes, Bonsai, Zach Berkman, Nell Bryden (Cooked Vinyl), Lizzie and the Makers, Gyroscone, Danny Ross (Ammul Records), Big Plastic, Simone Stevens, and Speedbuggy.

In 2009 and 2010 Bryan had the honor of accompanying Nell Bryden on two USO tours performing in Iraq. Not only was this a valuable musical opportunity, it was also a life changing experience meeting and performing for the US troops overseas. Bryden's 2009 release “Live in Iraq” is comprised of recordings from the first tour, and footage from the second tour provided the basis for Susan Rockefeller Cohen's documentary "Striking A Chord."

Bryan endorses and loves Canopus Drums.

Along with drums, Bryan can be seen playing electric bass. In 2006 the neighbors grew weary of Bryan practicing drums, so after some nasty threats and a few tense visits by the local law enforcement, Bryan decided to try an instrument with a volume knob.

Bryan studied with master drummer Michael Carvin, and graduated from his school of drumming. He has also studied with Kevin Norton, Bill Goodwin, Amy Putnam, and Scott Ketron.

Studying with great teachers instilled an early desire in Bryan to pass his knowledge and experience along to aspiring drummers, which led to the formation of the Bryan Bisordi School of Drums and has now encompassed hundreds of students over eight years. Current and previous students have gone on to continue their studies at Julliard, Berklee College of Music, Queens College, City College, and William Paterson University.

Bryan is currently working on his drum set method book, with completion planned for 2016.
